These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Headline app (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Headline. By using the app, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- You are responsible for all activities under your account.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Headline for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes;
- upload or share content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes on others’ rights;
- attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Content
- You retain ownership of the content you share.
- By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display it within the app to enable its features.
- We do not monitor or moderate all content, but we may remove content that breaches these Terms.
5. Availability of the service
We aim to keep Headline available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or discontinue the app at any time without liability.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Headline is provided “as is” and “as available”;
- we are not liable for any loss, damage or disruption caused by use of the app.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.
7. Termination
You may stop using Headline at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
